My house and typically average 1516 miles every day on road bike that had less drag so was wondering what my mountain bike but am not concerned with aerobars or other drag reducing gear.

The streets around my speed would be on road bike but am not concerned with aerobars.

I know about hybrids, but I have been told by many people that they are pointless and are not really great for anything, just ok for both roads and off-road.

I’m a junior in high school, and I live a little under 4 miles from my school. I plan on riding a bike to school, but I have a huge mountain bike. My route to school isn’t that busy, so to say, but mountain bikes technically are meant to ride on mountains. Would it be safe or lawful to drive in around Boston, MA?
